Load devices are also conductors

If you connect a circuit using only load devices, it still works. A load device is also a conductor, but a conductor with a significantly higher resistance than a regular wire. The result of connecting these resistive devices is that the current flow is diminished, but the circuit still functions.

Replace the devices with wires, one device at a time, carefully observing the function of each device. As each device is removed, the resistance of the circuit reduces, so the remaining devices can be seen to work at higher rates because the current passing through them goes up.
